There is a cost to calling out injustice. There is risk to challenging white supremacy. And yet we put our names to these actions because we stand behind them.
To challenge someone’s identity, to attempt to discredit them and their work, only to sign their name as “Concerned Fundraiser” speaks volumes about their character and agenda. It doesn’t touch Nneka‘s.
To “Concerned Fundraiser”, your misogynoir is showing. We see you.
We are challenging Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Toronto Chapter and holding them to account for anti-Black racism. Stand with us. Let your voice be heard.
